SkyTweaks (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and (if using Discord OAuth) your Discord username and avatar. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

Purchase information: Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details. We receive a confirmation from Stripe upon successful payment.

License data: We store your license key and its associated plan (Free or Premium).

Usage data: We do not collect telemetry from the desktop application. The app operates entirely locally on your machine.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your account
• To validate your license key from the desktop app
• To deliver your software download via a secure, time-limited link
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, account updates)
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Discord — optional OAuth login. Discord's privacy policy applies when using this option.
• Cloudflare R2 — secure file storage and delivery for downloads.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly for authentication purposes (managed by NextAuth). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance reasons (e.g., purchase records).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

SkyTweaks is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
